| What is Census? | The goal of the Census |
| Census of Population, Households and Dwellings is a process of organized collection, processing, analysis and dissemination of data on population, households and housing units of a country. | The goal of Census is to provide a list of correct, complete and high quality statistical data on population and its territorial distribution in accordance with international standards, while providing the international comparability of data and comparability with data from previous censuses. |

| According to the Low on Census of population, households and dwellings in 2011 in the Republika Srpska ("Official Gazette of the Republika Srpska", No. 109/10) enumerators and other persons performing duties in connection with the Census, shall each keep confidential the information collected from all individuals regarding their personal, family and financial conditions. Data collected by the Census are used only for statistical purposes. The protection of personal data will be conducted in accordance with the Law on Protection of Personal Data ("Official Gazette of BH" No. 49/06) and Law on Statistics of the Republika Srpska ("OfficialGazette of the Republika Srpska" No. 85/03). |
