 WORK PROGRAMMING, PLANNING AND REPORTING

Work programming is four annual and it is one of the basic tasks of Republika Srpska Institute of Statistics in addition to the main task which is data production and dissemination for Republika Srpska. The Institute determines statistical methodologies and standards for the implementation of the statistical programs that are harmonized with BiH statistical standards and international standards, most of all UN/ECE and Eurostat. Relationship of Republika Srpska Institute of Statistics with other authorized producers of statistics in Republika Srpska is based on mutual cooperation.

For each domain of statistics a detail breakdown is prepared in how to respond to the requirements, by which activities, deadlines and responsible institutions. The annual plans enclose also the costs for implementation of the program. The Program is enacted by the National Assembly of Republika Srpska upon the proposal of the Government of Republika Srpska for the period of four years. The Work Plan is passed by the Government upon the proposal of the Institute and enacted for every calendar year.

The Institute submits the Reports on the implementation of the Work Plan.

The draft Program and Work Plan are prepared by the Institute of Statistics in cooperation with the authorized bodies and organizations.
